Warranty Policy

This Limited Warranty applies in Malaysia to products distributed by Koopers Distribution Sdn Bhd. The warranty period varies for different products and applies to the original purchaser only. The warranty does not cover wear and tear, only manufacturer defects for the periods specified.

Manufacturing defects refer to faulty mechanisms that affect the usability, safety, and performance of the products. Mechanisms refer to different parts for different product categories:

Child Seat: frame, buckle, headrest button, recline button, ISOFIX system, 360 spin button, harness adjustment button, or locking clip (whichever applicable)
Stroller: frame, folding buttons, buckle (whichever applicable)
Home Series: electronic parts, buttons, buckle, lock (whichever applicable)

Koopers warrants that the product you have purchased for personal use from an authorized Koopers dealer is free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. Your sales receipt, showing the date of purchase of the product, is your proof of the date of purchase. This warranty applies only to you, the original purchaser. It is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases the product from you.

During the warranty period, Koopers will repair or replace the part or product if it becomes defective, malfunctions, or otherwise fails to conform with this Limited Warranty under non-commercial, personal use, at no additional charge.

In repairing the product, Koopers may replace defective parts with new or serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance. All exchanged parts and products replaced under this warranty will become the property of Koopers. Koopers reserves the right to change manufacturers of any parts to cover any existing warranty.

To obtain warranty service, you may contact Koopers HQ at the phone number located in the product manual. Any parts determined to be defective must be returned to Koopers to obtain warranty service. You must prepay any shipping charges associated with transporting the parts or product. Additionally, you are responsible for insuring any parts or products shipped. You must present Koopers with proof of purchase documents (including the date of purchase) and the baby’s birth certificate (if the baby’s birth date is later than the purchase date). Any evidence of alteration, erasing, or forgery of proof of purchase documents will void this Limited Warranty.

This warranty does not cover products purchased from unauthorized dealers, or any products that have been damaged or rendered defective due to accident, misuse, abuse, use of parts not sold by Koopers, modification of the product, normal wear and tear, operation on incorrect power supplies, or service by anyone other than Koopers. Products with defaced or removed serial numbers are also not eligible for warranty service. If a product submitted for warranty service is found ineligible, an estimate of repair costs will be provided, and the repair will be made if requested by you upon receipt of payment or acceptable arrangements for payment.

Purchasing from unauthorized dealers increases the risk of receiving counterfeit or substandard products, which may not meet Koopers’ quality and safety standards. We strongly advise purchasing only from authorized Koopers dealers to ensure you receive a genuine product covered by our warranty. Except as expressly set forth in this warranty, koopers makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Koopers expressly disclaims all warranties not stated in this limited warranty. Any implied warranties that may be imposed by law are limited to the terms of this limited warranty. Neither koopers nor any of its affiliates shall be responsible for incidental or consequential damages.
