Warranty Policy

This warranty policy outlines the terms and conditions that apply to the warranties for all products purchased through Koopers Distributions Sdn. Bhd. and its authorised dealers only. This warranty is valid for only products purchased and used within Malaysia. Any warranty claims or repair service must be conducted at the Koopers Service Centre, located at the same premises as Koopers Headquarters at 8, Jalan Zuhal U5/178, Bandar Pinggiran Subang 40150 Shah Alam, Selangor. 

  1. WARRANTY COVERAGE

1.1 What is covered?

1.1.1  Manufacturing defects 

Manufacturing defects refer to faulty mechanisms that affect the product usability, safety and performance of the product. Mechanism covers the following: 

Child Seat: frame, buckle, button, isofix system, rotation system, locking clip

Stroller: frame, buckle, folding mechanism

Home: frame, buckle, button, electronics

 1.2 What is not covered?

1.2.1 Wear & tear

Wear and tear refers to the natural and gradual deterioration or damage that occurs to a product over time and the result of regular use or exposure to elements such as friction, weather, ageing or washing. This includes the fabric and wheels (whichever applicable).

1.2.2 Product purchased from unauthorised dealer 

1.2.3 Product serviced by person other than Koopers technician 

1.2.4 Product damaged due to accident, misuse, abuse or unauthorised modification

1.2.5 Use of parts not sold by Koopers

  1. WARRANTY PERIOD

The warranty period for each product may vary. Please refer to the specific product documentation or product page on koopers.co for the applicable warranty duration. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase (or the baby’s date of birth for early purchased items). 

  1. WARRANTY PROCESS

2.1 Registration Timeline

To activate the warranty, product registration must be completed within 7 days of the purchase date, including pre-purchased items before delivery or void. For pre-purchase made in advance of delivery, the warranty period will begin from the baby’s date of birth. In such cases, a copy of the baby’s birth certificate may be required for verification at a later stage.

2.2 Registration Approval 

Warranty registration is subject to approval by Koopers Distribution Sdn Bhd to verify the authenticity of the product. Koopers customer service reserves the right to approve or reject the registration within 3-5 working days of submission. Customers are required to check the status of registration via email.

Registration may be rejected due to invalid receipt copies or if the product was purchased from an unauthorised dealer. In the event of rejection, customers are advised to contact the seller to address any warranty claims, as Koopers Distribution Sdn Bhd will not be liable for such claims. 

2.3 Claim Process 

To initiate a warranty claim, customers are required to submit the request through this link: https://koopers.co/warranty-claim-request/ 

Following submission, Koopers will reach out to the customer within 24 hours (on working days) via email. The claims will be reviewed to ascertain whether the product needs to be returned to Koopers for further inspection. Any repairs will take not more than 3 working days, unless specified. 

2.3.1 Returned Shipping Cost 

For returned shipping to Koopers Service Centre, please contact our customer service team to coordinate the return of the product to Koopers Service Centre. Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 

Except as expressly set forth in this warranty policy, Koopers makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particulat purpose. Koopers expressly disclaims all warranties not expressed in this limited warranty. Any implied warranties that may be imposed by law are limited to the terms of this limited warranty. Neither Koopers nor any of its authorised dealers shall be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
